A good landscape is like a beautiful woman. The beauty will only survive if the inner health and strength are there. The “heart” is good design, the “blood” is the soil that supplies the nutrients for strong growth. The “skeleton” is the footings, foundations and sub surface drainage, that give the retaining walls and paving the strength to hold the soil, mulch and plants in place that creates the beauty that is a landscape.
